We are pleased to announce that MCE has received additional funds of 6,65,000 under Rajiv Gandhi Entrepreneurship Programme by Government of Karnataka raising the total grant amount to ₹19,95,000/- Congratulations to Dr. Geetha Kiran A, SPOC, PMP - RGEP, MCE. Chathur Pravarthan Pvt. Ltd. Wins ₹21 Lakh Grant Under ELEVATE 2024!

Proud to announce that Chathur Pravarthan Private Limited, a startup incubated at Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan under ME-RIISE FOUNDATION, has been selected under ELEVATE 2024! Heartiest congratulations to the founders Dr. Geetha Kiran A, Dr. Mohana Lakshmi J, and Mr. Achal J for this remarkable achievement. The startup has been awarded a grant-in-aid of ₹21 lakhs by the Government of Karnataka. This milestone not only reinforces the strong startup ecosystem at MCE but also inspires students to pursue groundbreaking ideas.

The Institution Innovation Council of Malnad College of Engineering has consistently performed well, earning a 4-star rating for the past two years and ranking in the 101-150 band in the NIRF Innovation Category 2023. As a result, the institute has been selected as a Mentor Institute under the Ministry of Education's Mentor-Mentee Scheme 2024, guiding five other institutions: Bangalore Institute of Technology, Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology, Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Engineering, and the Maharaja Institutes of Technology (Mysore and Thandavapura). Key activities include orientation sessions, design thinking workshops, quarterly progress reviews, and feedback visits.
